After a bit of a summer break in work party activity (aside from a small group fitting some gates for the new footpath) we are delighted to announce the first of our autumn work parties.
We pride ourselves on the appearance of our site at Snarestone Wharf and after a season of growth it is now time that we need to tend to the hedgerows and some other associated site maintenance to keep it looking at it’s best.
We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities to come along and give us a hand, have an opportunity to socialise with other volunteers and find out what we have planned for the future. Give as little or as much time as you can spare. We will be around most of the day but you don’t have to stay for the whole day unless you want to.
You are welcome to bring any suitable tools that you may have although we do have some tools available for use of our own if you do not. It is advisable to wear suitable clothing for whatever the forecast on the day and sensible footwear. Also bring yourself a packed lunch and any other refreshments that you will require.
We look forward to seeing some new faces and catching up with old friends.
