We last trimmed this hedgerow back in February (yes, it doesn’t seem like it was 8 months ago does it?) and it has since had a summer’s worth of growth that we now need to tackle.
I appreciate that it is quite short notice but other commitments have dictated that if not done now it could be many more weeks before we can fit it in. We really hope that you will consider coming to help for any amount of time you can spare, long or short.
If you have not volunteered with us before we welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities to come along and give us a hand, have an opportunity to socialise with other volunteers and find out what we have planned for the future. Give as little or as much time as you can spare. We will be around most of the day, but you don’t have to stay for the whole day unless you want to.
You are welcome to bring any suitable tools that you may have, although we do have tools available for use of our own if you do not. It is advisable to wear suitable clothing for whatever the forecast is on the day and also to wear sensible footwear. Please bring yourself a packed lunch and any other refreshments that you will require, although we do offer hot drinks to all who attend when we break.
As always we look forward to seeing some new faces and catching up with old friends.
Meeting at Snarestone Wharf for 10am with all work on site.
